Cedar House Orthodontics holds an NHS contract for the provision of Orthodontics for children under 18, in line with NHS regulations.
Both adults and children can be seen on a private basis, either following referral from their dentist or by contacting reception for self-referral.
Cedar House Orthodontics is registered with the Care Quality Commission which regulates the provision of Health Care in England and we have to conform to strict guidelines and governance to ensure your health, safety and security during treatment.
We look after your personal information very carefully and take our Information Governance extremely seriously. We are compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
At Cedar House we aim to provide excellent service but if, at any time, you find that it does not meet your expectations, please feel free to raise any concerns. Our Code of Practice for Patient Complaints is available from Reception and our complaints officer is Maria Brindley who will deal promptly with any issues.
If you have problems with your appliance outside our normal opening hours please contact Cedar House on the main number and we will give you an emergency number for the Orthodontist on call.
Please note that wires sticking out or loose brackets do not constitute Orthodontic emergencies as they can be padded with cotton wool or wax until the next available clinical session.
