Fixed Cosmetic Braces

These braces have less noticeable tooth coloured brackets made from ceramic to blend with your teeth and can be used with more discreet wires. This treatment offers a much less visible way of precisely positioning your teeth.

What results can be achieved?

Fixed cosmetic braces can treat a range of orthodontic problems including:

• Gappy teeth
• Twisted or protruding teeth
• Crooked teeth caused by overcrowding
• Problems with how your teeth fit together (occlusion)
• Overbites and underbites

What is the treatment process?

We will clean your teeth and fix the brackets in place with a dental adhesive. We then attach wires and elastics so that teeth can be moved into position.

Treatment will usually take between 18-24 months. During this time you will have to visit us regularly so that we can make the necessary adjustments to keep your teeth moving smoothly into the correct position.

Following removal of your fixed braces you will need to wear a retainer to maintain the new position of your teeth.
